• We bought A Better Route Planner (APRP) premium edition

  • the premium edition allowed us to plan our trip with important factors including:

    • Temperature

    • Headwind

    • weight of luggage

    • and many more

  • I am totally impressed with this software's accuracy. It is almost always correct with its estimates of arrival State of Charge (SOC)

• Install Thule roof rack and ski box

  • we installed this well before our trip so we could learn about the impact it made on milage, unfortunately the temperature dropped at the same time as the install so we cannot figure out exact impact. It certainly does create some windage

• Bought 18" rims and snow tires

• Found hotels on route with both a level 2 charger and dog friendly rooms.
